Comeback Conversations are monthly problem-solving session on a topic related to taking leave from work – part of the Comeback Community™ employee experience from The Talent Keeper Specialists.

This Q&A was recorded live on Tuesday 23/11/21 with guest experts Dr Lindsay Browning and Rosy Whitwell.

Dr Lindsay Browning is a chartered psychologist, neuroscientist, author and sleep expert. Rosy Whitwell is a RCPCH & RCN certified paediatric sleep practitioner and previously worked for many years in the NHS as a registered nurse and health visitor.

– Q1 starts at 10 mins 50 secs: “My 9 month old is waking up once in the night (which has reduced from every hour 2 months ago) and I’m giving her a bottle to get her back to sleep. How do I stop this? Cold Turkey or is there a better approach? She’s also a 5am waker so little sleep is being had.”

– Q2 starts at 17 mins 42 secs: “What are your tips for dealing with the inevitable brain fog that comes with tiredness and its effect on performance in the workplace? And how to get the energy to be present for my child when I feel like this?”

– Q3 starts at 25 mins 20 secs: “What advice do you have about how to tell when my 13 month old’s night wake ups are related to relentless nursery bugs or just poor sleep routine/habit?”
